Faith
Formation Commission
This
commission assists the Administrator of Religious Education with the
ongoing
faith formation programs of the parish. It helps to establish goals
and
objectives to meet the spiritual and religious educational needs of children,
adolescents,
adults and persons with special needs.
Adult
Faith Sharing
This
group meets twice a month on Sundays immediately following the 8:00a.m.
Mass.
This year the focus is on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The group
meets
to gain knowledge about the Catholic faith and to share their personal spiritual
journey.
Disciples
in Mission
(an
evangelization experience)
The
goals of Disciples in Mission are threefold: enthusiasm for the faith, welcoming
and
inviting, and Gospel impact on society. Parishioners grow in their love for
Scripture
and
develop a new commitment to love as disciples of Christ.
Catechist
Adult
members of the parish who are interested in sharing their faith and teaching
religious
education to the children and adolescents of St. Anne.
RCIA
Sponsors
These
volunteers journey with those seeking to become members of the Catholic Church.
The
commitment includes, participation in the RCIA sessions, sharing of faith
journey,
listening,
praying, encouraging and affirming growth in faith.
Religious
Education Classes
Preschool
through Grade 8 meet on Sunday mornings, 9:00a.m. – 10:15a.m. from
September
to May.
Nursery
School
This
program is offered to meet the needs of families with small children. It is
offered
on
Sunday mornings during the 8:00a.m. Mass.
Vacation
Bible School
A
week of lessons taught through songs, games, prayer, food and a whole lot of FUN
as
children learn more about the Word of God.
