ST.  ANNE  CATHOLIC  CEMETERY

BY - LAWS

Rules and regulations are made by the St. Anne Catholic Cemetery Board to provide good management and appearance of its cemetery.

 

1.         Cost of Grave Lots:  $ 300.00

The purchase of a lot will be paid off in three years as follows:   25% down, 25% per year for the next three years.  The cost of the grave lot is subject to review by the board annually.  No interment will be allowed  unless the price of the lot is paid in advance, or guaranteed by the Funeral Director.

2.         Military Foot Stone:

All military footstones placed on the grave should be at ground level.

 3.         Flowers:

NOTHING  may be planted around the head stone or on the grave. (No type of flowers, trees or shrubbery) Cut flowers or other decorations may be placed on the grave. However, those who mow will discard all dead or unsightly flowers and decorations.  Families will have 10 days to personally remove the flowers. Following a funeral 5 bouquets may be placed on the grave by the funeral director.

4.         Monuments:

All monuments are the property of the holder of the deed, and St. Anne parish assumes no responsibility for the upkeep of said monument, but does reserve the right to remove or alter any monument that has become unsightly and injurious to the appearance of the cemetery.  Land crypts are forbidden.

 5.         Cemetery Work:

All workmen employed in the erection of monuments, or any other work, must be subject to the control and direction of the Cemetery Board before any work may begin.

6.         Cemetery Use:

There shall be no picnics, parties or consumption of food and beverages in the confines of the cemetery and there shall be no parking or loitering in the cemetery during hours or darkness. 

7.         Grave Marking:

Lots will be recorded when the lots are purchased and marked at the time of internment.

8.         Collections:

A collection will be taken up the Sunday closest to All Souls Day and the Sunday closest to Memorial Day for the maintenance of St. Anne Cemetery.

9.         Report:

Once a year a financial report shall be given to all parishioners.

These By-Laws for St. Anne Catholic Cemetery will be reviewed by the Cemetery Board annually

 

Please Note: The current charge for the grave opening/closing is $ 450.  Saint Anne Cemetery is $100 and the grave digger charge is $350 ($75 for cremated internment/$400 for over size grave) .  This is subject to change without notice.  The grave digger is Mike Ellson.  These costs are paid at the time of burial.
